Only four. more. days. Are you ready for Mass Effect 3?
Are you scrambling to rush back through Mass Effect 2 one more time or are you going in fresh? Planning to pick up any of the countless items that come with DLC bundled in?
I hope you’re ready. If not for the game itself, then at least to hear Paul gush about it (or rail against it?!?) on a future episode.
What’s everybody up to this weekend?
Randy Dickinson (@randy_wrecked): I’ll be away from home this weekend so it’s going to be all-Vita, all the time. I stayed up much too late last night playing Rayman Origins; it’s absolutely delightful and it looks freakin’ amazing on the Vita’s OLED screen. Speaking of delightful: I’m also replaying Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!!! and trying nab gold medals on every level. Cartoon-y 2D platformers? I haz them.
D.J. Ross (@metaly): Mass Effect 3 is coming out next week, despite my frantic letter-writing campaign to Bioware to delay it another six months so I can get through another Mass Effect 2 playthrough, including all the DLC. So, I guess this weekend I’m going to try to speed throough Mass Effect 2 and all the DLC. I’ll let you know how that works out.
Paul Sandhu (@spaulsandhu): This weekend will be spent sleeping and preparing my mind, body, and soul for next week’s Mass Effect 3!!!!!!!
Matt Kernan (@mkernan): With the Syndicate campaign finished, I think it may be time for me to dive into the backlog a little bit. I might get back to my in-progress Singularity game or perhaps fire up the Red Faction: Armageddon campaign. Coincidentally, Randy and I tried out RF:A’s ‘Infestation’ mode last night and it was actually pretty fun! If I find myself with a 20 or 30-minute interval to kill, maybe I’ll squeeze in a few rounds of Nexuiz too.
