Instead of assigning traditional review scores, we’re now rating games on their lunchtime equivalency: Just Cause 3 is a tasty soup/sandwich combo from Chili’s while Her Story and Undertale are worthy of the endless pasta bowl from Olive Garden.

We celebrate five years of podcasts by answering your questions about PlayStations, questionable roommates, dance hazards, literal game mechanics, regret, and Iron Man. Plus Randy makes the greatest sacrifice of all. But first… (bottle opening noises)
Comments closedD.J. has more to say about Soma. Paul plays the wrong Fallout, but maybe he can mod it into the right one. Randy admits to using one of those virtual girl apps. But most importantly: How’s that new Assassin’s Creed?
5 Comments2015 has been a big year for Video Game Hangover. We recorded our 200th episode. We raised (with your help!) hundreds of dollars for charity in this year’s Extra Life marathon. The Order: 1886 came out.
This is also our fifth year doing pods on the Internet. As per VGH tradition, we’re ending it with our drunktacular call-in show, but since this is the fifth one, we felt like we should do something extra special. Which means… we don’t actually know. But while we figure it out, you can still call in with a question!
2 CommentsAs Black Friday looms, it’s important to keep your amiibos safe while revolving the screen to locate strange monsters. D.J. does so in REVOLVER360 RE:ACTOR before giving an unsatisfactory decription of SOMA. Paul enjoys cats and TitS while Randy longs for a time when all crime is legal.
Comments closedNeed a reprieve from the wasteland? You’re in luck, because we’ve been playing all the games that came out last week that aren’t called Fallout, like Rise of the Tomb Raider and StarCraft II Part III. Also, how to play Downwell correctly.
Comments closedLast weekend we played games for 24 hours straight! Hear our thoughts about some of the games we played (and the important life lessons we learned). Bonus: This includes the mini show we recorded in the middle of the night.
Comments closedPaul adds to his cat collection with the newly translated Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector, then takes a trip to outer space in Rebel Galaxy. Randy plays a TV spinoff mobile game that’s Actually Good. D.J. attends the Final Fantasy: A New World concert and manages to not get arrested. And no one can remember the name of that one JRPG. You know, the one with the guy who dies? But on purpose, maybe. Also, more Legend of Legacy, Fantasy Life, and the names of space games.
Comments closedRandy and D.J. don’t talk about scary games this week, but they do chat about how much D.J. luvs Fantasy Life, Legend of Legacy (DEMO), and other stuff. Also: Randy has a great time playing Zelda: Tri Force Heroes whilst wearing a dress and uses weird emoji!!!
Comments closedRandy gives Chibi-Robo another chance with Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash. D.J. battles spooky blobs and touch controls in the new mobile sensation, Downwell. And Paul plays the latest Additional Content for his The Witcher 3 Video Game Product.
Comments closedD.J.’s Dishonored game comes to a merciful conclusion. For the second week in a row, Paul doesn’t change into a gun in Transformers: Devastation. And Randy that prays a looming voice actor strike doesn’t take his Nolan North away. Bonus: A no-spoilers barred discussion of The Beginner’s Guide.
Comments closedWe’re participating in the Extra Life 2015 gaming marathon for charity! On Sunday, November 7th, we’ll be raising funds for the Children’s Miracle Network of hospitals by playing games for 24 hours straight. We hope you’ll tune into our livestream, cheer us on, and pledge your support for our team by donating a few dollars toward our fundraising goal. Any amount is appreciated! You can contribute here:

3 CommentsJohn de Lancie joins us this week to chat about his favorite games like Dishonored, Tales from the Borderlands, Volume, and updates us on his Backlog. Also: Randy sounds like Bob Ross having sex to Jazz music, whilst eating Fig Newtons. Wat.
