It’s here! As of episode #553, this year’s Backlog Attack has commenced, and we’re inviting you to play along!
All you have to do is play through your old, unfinished games for the next few weeks! To get started, come up with a list of games you plan to complete (we’re doing four each). Then share the list with us here in the comments, on Twitter (don’t forget to add #BacklogAttack and mention @VGHangover), in the #backlog-attack channel on our Discord, or even via email by emailing contact@vghangover.com.
Along the way, earn extra points by completing bonus Backlog Attack challenges, which will be revealed on the next four episodes of the show:

At the end of the contest, we’ll choose a winner based on who we think has achieved the greatest feat of backloggery, and that person will receive the fall new release game of their choice!*
The winner will be judged based on several factors that aren’t just limited to the number of games you completed. For instance, maybe your backlog goal was to complete a job in PowerWash Simulator, but while using your own custom power washer controller. That’s impressive! Maybe win-a-new-game-impressive! (Also, send us pictures!)
To get started, just start playing your backlog games and comment/tweet/email us with your progress as you complete each one. Make sure to follow us on Twitter, join the Discord, and, of course, listen to the show over the next few weeks so you can keep up with those bonus challenges.
NOTE: Because of dumb, dumb, technical issues that caused this post to go out late, the final contest deadline has been extended to the morning of Monday, September 12th. So make sure you’ve caught up with all your updates by then!
