Another great episode guys, well done! 😀

    ***SPOILER ALERT***

I’m glad to hear that you guys really enjoyed this game as much as I did. Loved how well the game fleshed out the Drake/Sully friendship and how this adventure put that friendship to the test. Loved how dynamic the environments were with the moving boxes and the collapsible floors and whatnot. Lots of beautiful set pieces, the attention to detail, and that water while the ship was capsized is a thing of beauty! The ability to throw back grenades, which was a lifesaver in Crushing mode since those grenades kept coming at me and could not at many times just roll into cover elsewhere. Loved it! 😀
I was reading a lot of what has been said in the Uncharted 3 thread on CAG, and although I agree this might not be the strongest entry in the series, it really doesn’t deserve a lot of the hate the game has been receiving there, it’s really sad many there aren’t enjoying this in the way we have. 😐
I do agree with Paul that there are points in the game that felt a little rushed. The whole Marlowe/Talbot relationship could have been developed a little more, the part when you were running out of the ship after Rameses shoots the glass was WAY too short, and the game in general could have been a tad longer. Some people also had problems with the aiming lag the single-player has, though I hardly noticed it myself. >.>
Also, I definitely wasn’t the first to platinum this game, since I’ve read a couple of people got the platinum just hours before I did, but I am AMONG the first to platinum it, so that’s cool. 🙂

All in all, loved it, and I can’t wait for the inevitable Uncharted Racing game! XD

I should probably issue an official “retractment” next episode regarding your status as first person on earth that platinum’d the game.

Also people are seriously hating on the game? I don’t get it. It’s not perfect, but it is such a high quality product, I can’t believe people would rip on it. Too bad for them I guess.

first cast ive heard from you guys, i like you guys very much and agree with what you all said about uncharted. I personally think that uncharted 3 is not only better than uncharted 2 but it may be the best game ever made. I do not expect another game in this generation to outdo uncharted 3. keep it up guys, will stick around for more. New fan!

Thank you for the kind words! You should definitely check out some of our older casts as (if I do say so myself) they are pretty good too!

We’re all obviously big fans of the Uncharted series and I can’t wait for more of em!

BTW Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels was just epic.

I’m in agreement with most of what you guys said also. I think that 2 and 3 are about the same in my book, as in that they are some of the best games made. While 2 had better pacing and better secondary characters, 3 was just polished to hell and explored the relationship between nate and sully more, along with elena (everything else was secondary).

I still think that Marlowe was a bad boss. While she was that sinister, mysterious, secret cult type person she just didn’t do it for me. She was just always turning up either one step behind or half a step behind Nate. Didn’t seem a worthy boss.

Also the pacing was just well off. In Uncharted 2 there was action followed by small rest and repeat and rinse for the entire game. In 3 it was more erratic and at points detracted slightly from the experience.

As far as sequels go I’m pretty sure there will be one, I’m just hoping they give it some time before coming back. Maybe ND should try their hand at something new and then come back to Uncharted.
