Boo! Just in time for Halloween, VGH is running a surprise contest and giving away a spooky game. One lucky winner will get one of Randy’s favorites from 2010, Alan Wake. Up for grabs is a download code for the full Xbox 360 game (from the U.S. marketplace).
To enter, head over to the Video Game Hangover Facebook page and like us, then like this post. We’ll pick one winner by the end of the day on Sunday. This contest is a little short, but that’ll give the winner the chance to play Alan Wake on Halloween, if they so desire.
We’ve mentioned on the show how excited we are that two of our favorite games, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, are getting rereleased in gorgeous HD (and with a stable framerate!) on the PlayStation 3. We’re equally excited to give one lucky listener the chance to experience these games themselves by giving away a copy of this brand new collection, which is finally out this week!
There are two ways to enter to win. The first is easy: Just follow us on Twitter and retweet this message:

Please submit your answers only once. We’re on the honor system here folks.
***Also please note that this contest is only open to residents of the continental United States and Canada***
How This Works:
You might have noticed that each question is worth a point. Everyone that scores 6 or higher on the quiz will get an entry into our random draw on April 11th. You earn points for every correct answer you submit so try to be sure about your answers when you enter. For every point you earn over 6 (Acing questions 1-6) you gain an additional entry into the draw on April 11th. So essentially you can get a total of 3 entries if you get every question right.
During episode #7 we’ll do a (not so live for you folks) live drawing from the pool of entries and announce our winner! The winner will be contacted via email on April 11th. Happy test taking~

This contest was made possible by VGH fan and veteran trophy collector, freakyzeeky! Here’s what he has to say about PixelJunk Shooter 2:
I really think this game is a definite improvement over it’s predecessor due to the slightly challenging nature of the main game, whereas the first game felt like a walk in the park in comparison. The online portion of the game also did not feel ‘tacked on’, it’s pretty beefy, with multiple unlocks of weaponry, shooting styles, spells, and the like to keep you occupied, and like the first game, the trophies aren’t really that hard, as you’ll unlock most of them as you play through the campaign, which can be played solo or local co-op. I say buy it, it’s easily one of my favorite PSN titles to come out this year, and worth it’s $9.99 price tag.
Thanks, freaky, and good luck to everyone who enters!
