Well, looky what we have here. The wonderful folks over at Klei Entertainment (@Klei) were kind enough to give us three Xbox Live Arcade codes for Shank 2 for us to pass along to you, our dear listeners and readers. If you haven’t heard my thoughts on the game yet from VGH #42, I’ve gone ahead and embedded a video version below. How convenient is that?!?


We’re trying out Rafflecopter this time around, in hopes of simplifying the process of running the giveaway so let us know if you run into any weirdness with it. There are a number of ways to enter, so scroll down to the widget below and get to it! (Please make sure you use your real info so that we can contact you if you win.)

          Hmm, yeah, I noticed that too. It seems intermittent though. Give it a couple refreshes and see if it shows up. My apologize for the inconvenience. There’s 5 days left to enter, so that’s good.

      Hrm…. it’s taken me a few times when I’ve tried lately. It sure simplifies entry, collection, and picking a winner, but if it’s going to be flaky like this all the time, I don’t know if I can use it again next time.

      Really, that many?!? Damn, I’m really sorry. It loaded for me on the first go when I came to the page just now. If you try again later and it still doesn’t work, let me know. Sorry for all the headache.

        I decided to try latest IE browser instead of my go-to Firefox and it worked on the first try.  I went back to FF, disabled all my addons, and still no go.  Not sure what the exact problem is, but my advice to those having trouble is try it in IE.

        btw, thanks for the contest.  I absolutely loved the first Shank.

          Actually, there was apparently a conflict between the Rafflecopter widget and our site’s plugin that displayed social sharing buttons on our posts (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). I disabled that plugin and the giveaway widget seems to load every time now. I’ll just leave it off for the time being.

      Thanks. It seems like it must just be a load issue on Rafflecopter’s end. Unfortunately, I think I’m just going to have to live with it since we’re already knee deep in entries. I think I’ll look around at other solutions for next time though.
